All proceeds received by the Entrepreneurship Class of 2019 from this event will go to the following causes:
Event proceeds will help generate a new Entrepreneurial Scholarship. In addition, students from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at Shady Grove will voluntarily pledge between $20 - $100 towards the scholarship every year for five years.
Recipients of the scholarship will be encouraged to take on this pledge as well, to sustain the scholarship fund long after they have graduated.
Noble Uprising is a local start-up founded by Audrey Awasom, a recent Robert H. Smith alum. The organization delivers transformative workshops and experiences that equip homeless women to overcome barriers that prevent them from being successful in the workforce.
